Common uses

  • Create carton and case barcode artwork.
  • Generate logistics labels with GTIN-14 style values.
  • Export SVG or PNG for packaging workflows.

When to use ITF-14

ITF-14 is used for trade item groupings such as cartons, cases and shipping units. It is not the same as a retail point-of-sale barcode and is usually used outside the consumer-facing product label.

Check digit handling

Enter 13 digits and Barqode calculates the fourteenth check digit automatically. If you enter 14 digits, the generator validates the checksum before rendering the code.

Logistics artwork

ITF-14 symbols are often printed larger than retail barcodes and may be used on corrugated packaging. Export as SVG for print layouts and confirm final sizing with your scanning workflow.
